The Festival of Jewish Learning and Culture - Join us as
- thousands of Jews join in Jerusalem on Sukkot, the Feast of Ingathering
- we study together - secular, traditional, religious – all Jewish streams
- we celebrate Jewish learning and culture
- we ackowledge and build Jerusalem as the center of Jewish openness and tolerance
In antiquity, Jews from across the world gathered in Jerusalem each Sukkot. We renew that tradition through this special festival of learning and culture.
All study sessions - in Hebrew and in English, are free, reflecting a wide variety of approaches to text, history, current affairs, etc. We shall also offer Jewish cultural performances in outd.oor and indoor (only some free) venues. Gateways will take place in October on Wednesday the seventh and Thursday the eighth, with all-night sessions, Thursday evening, 8-9.
